My recent image 'Icy waters, Llyn y Fign' (http://www.garyshortphotography.co.uk/icy-waters-llyn-y-figngs639) taken in the Aran mountains, was shortlisted for Outdoor Photographer of the Year 2017 in the 'Light on the Land' category. Whilst it didn't make the final shortlist and book announced this week, I was very pleased to have been recognised again in this worldwide competition. I was a runner up in the Outdoor Photographer magazine 'Beauty of Winter' competition, printed in the June issue (see http://www.outdoorphotographymagazine.co.uk/magazine/2017/05/our-june-issue-the-highlights) with this image of Cym Cywarch, Snowdonia - http://www.garyshortphotography.co.uk/winter-light-cwm-cywarchgs630 - which I captured on a stormy day in January 2017.

My prints of Snowdonia landscapes are now for sale at the Snowdonia National Park Information Centre in Aberdyfi.
The Centre is situated on the seafront and is now open every day from 9.30am to 5.00pm until the end of October. Call in to view the work of local artists, exhibition of the National Park, as well as books, guides, maps and souvenirs for sale.
